Web Protection serves two vital functions on a network: First, it can be used to monitor web traffic for bandwidth issues and, if necessary, can be used as “net nanny” software to block access to unwanted pages. More importantly, our Web Protection service maintains a list of known malicious websites and prevents machines from communicating with them. This provides a strong first line of defense against malware, reducing the risk of viruses getting access to a system as well as reducing the ability of malware to "phone home" for instructions.
Remote Maintenance Agreements
Remote Maintenance Agreements are designed primarily for small businesses who want to take a more proactive role in their IT management. They include a Complete Monitoring license and a specific amount of pre-paid remote labor per device. Up to half of the time in the monthly labor pool will be used for routine maintenance tasks to minimize problems on the network, and the remainder will be left to handle any service needs.
Pricing and terms depends on the size and complexity of the network, but Remote Maintenance Agreements start at $50/month for networks.
